Eyeformation's
latest project is CITY BIRDS—an installation/mural inhabiting
a flock of colorful birds created by the artist and other participants.
The project began in the summer of 2007, when the first CITY BIRDS
illustrations found their way on skateboard decks designed by Eyeformation.
Soon after, the birds were being constructed from recycled and found
wood. Each bird has detailed black lines that are created with an
intricate wood burning technique and then colored with an opaque enamel
paint.

Art Bureau 16 The
concept of CITY BIRDS continues to expand. A "do-it-yourself"
blank CITY BIRDS template is available for anyone to adapt
his or her design to the bird shape. Participants can find
a blank template in Art Bureau 16's lettered edition or, visit
the CITY
BIRDS website to download the PDF template. A few artist's designed CITY BIRDS will be selected for a limited edition die-cut sticker pack. All artists that have a design in the sticker set will receive a pack. |

Eyeformation's art is well-known around Lowell, Massachusetts, ever since his zany black and white illustrations of Mill City celebrities like Bette Davis and Ed McMahon showed up on walls and windows a few years back. Art Bureau 8 includes several of Eyeformation's poster designs and a Bette Davis sticker.
